Obama J. Simpson

I’m 55 years old and until last month, I’d never had a racist thought pass between my ears or over my lips.  But now, after a few weeks of Rev. Jeremiah Wright hating on the White Man, Barack Obama's shuck ‘in and jiv’in under the TV spotlights and Black journalists, ministers and campaign supporters defending the indefensible – I’m fast becoming a real US-American racist!

When the Primary Season began, Race was not a campaign issue.  Obama didn’t want to be known as the ‘Black Candidate’, none of the Republican nominees wanted to make race an issue and, even when Oprah endorsed Obama, the issue was her dissing the first woman to run for president rather than promoting a man simply because he was black.

What offends me the most is the smug elitism that both Barack and Rev. Wright exude.  It’s this air of superiority about Black Liberation Theology, that is even more offensive than their ‘blame America first’ and Hamas = victims, Israel = terrorists drivel, that is turning me against my fellow African Americans.

Now Rev. Wright says; that when E.F. Farrakhan speaks all blacks listen, that Minister Farrakhan didn’t call Judaism a “gutter religion” rather that Zionism was in the gutter (only trouble is that Zionism is not a religion) and that Obama’s just another politician and come Nov. 5th he’ll still be a pastor (I thought Obama said Wright had retired and that if he hadn’t, Obama would’ve left the church).

Obama claims he’s the one to unite all Americans, but he can’t even get his angry Black “uncle” to halt his hating.  Obama claims he possesses superior judgment to that of the Commander In Chief, the majority of Congress and the Joint Chiefs of Staff, but he didn’t have the good sense to 86 Jeremiah, William Ayers or Tony Rezko.  He’s content to cede Iraq to Al Qaeda, to put Israel in the sites of a nuclear Iran and to invalidate free trade agreements throughout the Americas.

When John McCain defeats Obama in November, I’m worried that the Rev. Wrights of the world will blame his loss on racism and do everything they can to set back race relations 50 years.  If the DNC super delegates select Hillary in Denver, these Race Hustlers will set of race riots in every major city in America and if Hillary Clinton should be elected president don’t expect ‘America’s first Black President’ Bill Clinton to bridge the racial divide that Obama’s candidacy has resurrected.

At least Obama’s Return to Racism candidacy has knocked Michael Vick, O.J. Simpson and illegal immigration off the front pages, so maybe, as the Barack & Michele show fades from the national spotlight, my newfound racism will fade away as well.................I hope so.

Barack's assent = Israel's demise

Despite his recent statements in support of Israel, I fear that, when push comes to shove, Barack Obama will ‘turn a blind eye’ toward the fate of the Jewish State.  Obama will allow America’s historical ally to ‘twist in the wind’ not because his middle name is Hussein, not because his Illinois church published  anti-Semitic rants by Nation of Islam founder Louis Farrakhan and not because he told 60 Minutes that, as President  he would negotiate unconditionally with Syria and Iran.  Barack Obama will acquiesce into abandoning Israel, because Iran and Syria will demand he do so, in exchange for Ahmadinejad and Assad agreeing to stay out of Iraq, in the aftermath of Obama’s immediate and unilateral withdrawal from Mesopotamia.

Regardless of what else might ‘change’ during his administration, Obama will be considered a total disaster if after his precipitous departure from Iraq; Iran, Syria and Al Qaeda overrun that country, execute all who fought for their freedom and turn that oil rich land into a launching pad for Islamic Fundamentalism and international terrorism.

In order to satisfy his ‘cut & run’ supporters but not ‘snatch defeat from the jaws of victory’, I’m afraid Obama would cut such a deal with Israel’s sworn enemies.  He’s already on record supporting the relaxation of restrictions on direct aid to the Palestinians, despite their election of Hamas, and has said that, "nobody is suffering more than the Palestinian people".  Obama voted against a Senate resolution urging the Bush administration to label the Iranian Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization.  He opposed that measure because he feared it might give the President the authority to use military action against a nuclear Iran.  Does anyone really think that an Obama Administration would actually stop Iran’s 25 year march toward securing nuclear weapons?

After fleeing Iraq, Obama’s other great international priority is “making America respected around the world again”.  Considering the dozens and dozens of anti-Israel resolutions passed by the United Nations, Barack could find a lot of friends among the despots and dictators of the world by simply ignoring Israel.  Obama mistakes ‘respect’ for ‘appeasement’ in a headlong rush to his ‘can‘t we all just get along’ world.  Despite his lack of experience and Pollyannaish naiveté, America might survive Obama’s kumbaya presidency, but it could come at the expense of Israel’s existence.

Spinning the Surge - into the ground!

In his 12/30/07 Denver Post editorial, Still in harm’s way, U.S. Rep. Mark Udall (D) hopes “we will begin the process of turning over to the Iraqi people the political and military responsibility for their country”.  The truth is that political control was handed over on June 28, 2004, by the Coalition Provision Authority’s Paul Bremer to Iyad Allawi, Iraq’s first prime minister.  Subsequently, over eight million Iraqis voted in national elections, an Iraqi constitution was ratified and local provincial councils began governing as well.  As of Sept. 10, 2007, when Gen. David Patreaus testified before Congress, over 140 battalions of Iraqi Army and police were capable of leading military operations and new recruits were coming forward in record numbers.  Additionally, British troops handed over control of Basra to the Iraqi Army, in February of 2007 and reported levels of violence have dropped precipiticly.  Clearly, Iraqis began taking political and military responsibility for their country a long time ago and Rep. Udall should be well aware of these facts.

Along with other Colorado Democrat politicians; Cong. Ed Perlmutter and Gov. Bill

Ritter, Mark Udall now acknowledges the success of the ‘surge’ ordered by President Bush.  Udall qualifies his support by claiming that our defeating Al Qaeda in Iraq has “deepened Iraqi dependence on U.S. Troops”.  Despite evidence to the contrary, Rep. Udall makes this sensational accusation without presenting any supporting documentation or testimony.

Additionally, Udall bemoans that “our army is not large enough to sustain current troop levels in Iraq” and that “the security situation in Afghanistan has gotten worse”, but he neglects to advocate increasing the size of our active military or to mention the significant role and responsibility of NATO forces in combating the Taliban.

Udall writes “the greatest gift Congress can give our soldiers next year is sure knowledge that a grateful nation will soon welcome them home.”  Congressman Udall, how about Congress giving; our soldiers the funding needed to win, and the Iraqis the support and patience to resolve their historical differences?

Adolph, Obama & Smith

I agree with the Jewish Defense League (JDL) that Will Smith’s comments were insulting to Holocaust survivors and Jews in general and for the following reasons, he should be made an example of.

By claiming that Hitler was a “good person”, Smith advances an agenda of ‘moral equivalency’ that will ultimately end in the abandonment and destruction of the State of Israel.  In the aftermath of World War II it would have been unthinkable to call Hitler anything but “pure evil” (if one ventured to speak his name at all).  In earlier generations it would have been politically incorrect to deny the existence of Hitler’s genocide.  Today, liberals regularly label President Bush, Vice-President Cheney, Rumsfeld, Ashcroft and anyone else they hate, “Hitler” and good liberals don’t even raise an eyebrow.

Similarly, after Israel’s War of Independence in 1948, it would have been unthinkable to call Israel’s Arab neighbors anything but ‘aggressors’.  In earlier generations it would have been politically incorrect to deny that Israel was founded as a Jewish State.  Today, Hamas and Hezbollah homicide bombers are said to have the same moral authority as the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and the Holocaust Denier-and Chief in Iran again threatens destruction of Jews and Israel.

Does Will Smith really think that when Hitler advocated and approved children being murdered in front of their mothers, wives being raped in front of their husbands and using humans for medical experimentation, he was just trying to do something good for Das Fatherland?  Does Smith think that if we had just tried to understand Hitler and talk with him, we could’ve “reprogrammed” him to be a better person?  Had Will Smith been alive during World War II, chances are that he would have been tortured, mutilated and incinerated, along with six million Jews and two million other ‘mongrel’ races, by Adolph the Good.

Had Smith, who is neither Jewish nor German but is Black, used Mugabbee, Edi Amin Dada or Michael Vick as his example, at least he’d be talking about someone he has some possible connection to and understanding of.  The fact that Smith felt free to use Hitler as an example of his “there’s good in everybody” drivel, illustrates just how little today’s liberals care about offending Jewish sensitivities.

Barak Obama’s expressed willingness to talk, to the Hitler of our day - Iran’s Ahmadinejad, is but another extension of the moral equivalency found in Smith’s remarks.  Smith has publicly endorsed Barak Obama and ultimately, (G-d forbid) President Obama will appease Islamic Extremists by abandoning America’s historical alliance and support for Israel.  After all, we can achieve all the energy-independence we want, but as long as we’ve got Israel’s back, Ahmadinejad, Assad and Osama will keep coming after us.  The Left’s over-riding effort ‘to just (all) get along’ will lead Smith and his candidate, Obama to throw Israel overboard.

The JDL, whose motto is “Never Again”, wants arrest and reverse the subtle Anti-Semitism Will Smith has now advanced and by calling on (his) candidate, to repudiate such a statement, they hope to force Obama to stop blurring the line between good and evil and between our allies and our enemies.

My top 10 for '07

In reviewing the Rocky Mountain News 48 choices for top 10 stories of the year (It's the readers' turn - 12/22/07), the only one presented with a qualifying "but" was * U.S. troop surge in Iraq takes effect: violence drops but does not halt.  Where was the * Nancy Pelosi elected first female speaker of the house, BUT accomplishes almost nothing?  How about * President, Democrat-led Congress at odds over health coverage, Iraq, spending, BUT Bush prevails?  How come I couldn't find * Alberto Gonzales quits as attorney general after string of controversies, BUT allegations of wrong-doing go unsubstantiated and unproven?  Did I miss * Iran spars with international community over its nuclear program, BUT continues to hide its facilities and threaten Israel's existence?  What happened to  * Political crisis in Pakistan: Musharraf declares state of emergency, BUT cancels it six weeks later and honors pledge to resigns army post?  Where did * Afghan war:deadliest year since 2001, BUT NATO/government forces prevail in every battle with Taliban go?  Where was * Palestinians feud among themselves heading toward peace talks with Israel, BUT continue to fire rockets at Jewish settlements and hold kidnapped soldiers?   What about *Oil prices soar worldwide, BUT average cost/gal. of unleaded gas same as 2004 - 2005 and below 2006?  How about *Attempt to forge compromise on illegal immigration collapses in Congress, BUT political consensus to secure borders first strengthens?  These are my top 10 the way they should have been presented, BUT without doubt, the defeat of Al-Qaeda in Iraq by American/Iraqi troops was the best story of 2007.

Congressman Perlmutter, time to come correct!

A sure sign that the U.S. Military is succeeding in Iraq is when a democrat congressman tells you so (Perlmutter sees some hope in Iraq, RockyMountainNews 12/8/07).  After two years of campaigning against success in Iraq, advocating retreat and defeat and voting against military appropriations, there’s a hearty meal of humble pie waiting for Colorado's Ed Perlmutter, after his recent visit to Iraq.  While Perlmutter said he saw” absolute optimism, hope, spirit and spunk in the eyes of some Iraqi kids” in Jordanian refugee camps, he failed to mention the 30,000 Iraqi refugees who returned to Baghdad just last month.  While he “talked with our men and women up there”, Perlmutter couldn’t bring himself to even utter the words ‘military, soldiers or U.S. troops’ anywhere in his interview and while crediting Gen. Patreaus and the “surge”, he neglected to credit our Commander In Chief who stood strong despite the wave of national pessimism which characterized the election of 2006.
In his interview, Perlmutter twice suggested that America should assure Iraqis that “our troops will not be there forever”, rather, we should honor our commitment, and not cut-and-runa (as was the case after the 1rst Gulf War), until they have the security and political situation under control.
Congressman Perlmutter didn’t have to travel 8,000 miles to Ramadi to learn about such progress, but now even he can’t, and doesn’t deny it.  Ed Perlmutter now needs to admit he was wrong about Iraq.  He needs to apologize for bad-mouthing President Bush and stop trying to hamstring our military, by linking premature withdrawal deadlines to military budgets.
Now that's the kind of political reconcilliation/progress I'd like to see.

Winning Hearts & Minds, One Telemarketer @ a Time

If you want to promote Republican candidates and conservative positions without having to send money to the RNC or a PAC, try this:  Next time you receive a telemarketing solicitation, listen briefly and politely to the caller and then engage that individual in a discussion about how important you believe it is to support the President and our military efforts in Iraq.  Chances are they will stay on the line (as they’ve been trained to do), hoping that they’ll be able to regain control of the conversation and complete a sale.  Such a situation presents a unique opportunity to educate and influence another American to our point of view, without encountering the usual apathy or confrontation, often associated with ‘political discussions’.  The reason being, that these phone solicitors will (generally) listen passively, hoping not to offend their ‘mark’, by being confrontational.

Unlike readers of this blog, most people are not politically informed but can be positively influenced by our convictions and knowledge, especially after this practice spreads and telemarketers start having similar conversations, several times a day.  Remember, they called you – the least we can do is make it worth everyone’s while.  I started doing this a few weeks ago and have had more success, than I ever expected, in influencing these callers.  I plan too keep this effort going through the 2008 elections and I hope you will, too.

I used to get irritated when the phone rang during dinner or the ball game, but now I realize the great opportunity each call represents, to show other voters that there are, in fact, regular people (their prospects) that do not want the Liberal/Defeatist Agenda to be advanced and don’t want to give Hillary Clinton the chance to appoint more ACLU Lawyers to the Supreme Court. In order to ‘reach out and touch’ even more voters; consider canceling your call-blocking on telemarketing.  To accomplish this, call (888) 382-1222, or go to www.donotcall.gov

P.S. let’s keep this on the QT.  We wouldn’t want democrats copying our little plan.

What about the expression...

After the news about Michael Vick participating in Dog Fights surfaced, most pundits claimed they weren't previously aware of the "sport".  Haven't they ever heard the expression, "(he's) got a dog in this fight"?  Apparently, (its) just a little more commonplace than people care to admit.  Perhaps it, along with Buffalo Hunting, Whaling and Cow-Tipping, has just become politically incorrect?

Gary Cooper, please come home

An Iraqi man saved the lives of four U.S. Soldiers and eight civilians when he intercepted a suicide bomber during a Concerned Citizens meeting in the town of al-Arafia Aug. 18.

I'd like to wake up tomorrow morning, turn on the news and see President Bush, in Iraq, shaking hands with this man's Father and thanking him for his son’s bravery on behalf of all Americans.  Next, I'd like the President to take the Father on board, Air Force One, fly him to Washington D.C. and, as suggested by 1300170, award his son (posthumously) the Medal of Honor or whatever medal is deemed appropriate,  in a public ceremony.  Come January, this Father should be seated in the gallery, next to Laura Bush, during the President's next State of the Union address.  I'd also like to see some modern day “Sergeant Yorks" get similar public recognition and honors, and I'm sure there are many great American soldiers who are so deserving.  Gary Cooper, where are you?

Liberal Media Meltdown

In its never-ending quest to find new and creative ways to insult and disparage the Bush/Cheney Administration, the Denver Post has plumbed new depths with “Vick and Dick” (7/29/07).  Imagine the Post Editorial Editors salivating when comic strip writer, Andrew Feinstein submitted his timely and insightful missive “What the Falcons QB may have in common with America’s VP.”  In an obvious effort to ‘elevate’ the political discourse, the Post has published, what could possibly be, its most far-fetched and insipid diatribe yet.

According to Feinstein, quarterback Michael Vick is alleged to be involved in dog fighting, therefore the Vice President of the United States of America, former Secretary of Defense, former Presidential Chief-of-Staff, former multi-term Congressman and lifelong outdoorsman/hunter is guilty of “committing a vile act of inhumane torture against animals”.  Since the surname of ‘Vick’ rhymes with the proper name of ‘Dick’, it must be true.  And as they both have earned a lot of money in their professional careers, Feinstein loathes them, has judged them guilty (without the inconvenience of a trial) and advocates their immediate jailing and torture.

According to this line of reasoning; Paris Hilton was found guilty of DUI and jailed, and since Paris rhymes with Ferris and it was Ferris Bueller who faked being sick in Chicago, and since Barak Obama is from the ‘Windy City’, Obama must be faking his promise to keep America safe from International Terrorism, and therefore Obama is really as bad as Osama!  More names that rhyme – Proof positive!

“Shoeless” Joe Jackson was accused of cheating and kicked out of Baseball, and since “Slow” Joe Biden confessed to plagiarism in the 2004 democrat primary, it must follow that Joe Biden should be removed from the Senate.  After all, they are both named ‘Joe’ and, according to the Post and Andrew Feinstein, what more evidence is necessary?

Four Iraqi civilians were killed by “happy fire” following the Iraqi Soccer team’s victory.

And, George Bush once said he was ‘happy’ that the US and Coalition forces were ‘victorious’ over Saddam’s army.  Therefore, using Denver Post logic, it is a fact that, Bush caused the victorious Iraqis to celebrate with stray gunfire and therefore, must be ‘happy’ that these innocents died.  Surely, this alone constitutes grounds to file Articles of Impeachment.

Don’t ever let it be said that Andrew Feinstein and Denver Post can’t “connect the dots”.

Israel - who 'really' loves ya?

 KenBob is the President of a Liberal/Zionist Organization, based in New York City called Amienu.  Recently, he along with representatives of many Jewish groups met with Pres. Bush and other Administartion officials as well as democrat leaders in Congress.  Subsequently, Bob reported in his organization's newsletter that Dems were more authentic in their support of Israel than Bush & Co. to which I responded as follows;

It’s hard to understand how Nancy Pelosi' pilgrimage to Syria makes her a "better friend to Israel" than President Bush.  Based upon what, does KenBob actually think Bashir Assad is to be consulted much less trusted?  Perhaps the Lebanese/Syrian model is one these unappointed democrat emissaries wish to foist on Israel should they ever get the chance?  Maybe Bob believes that democrat proposals to abandon the Iraqi Democracy ASAP will help protect Israel from  Iran/Hezbollah/Hamas better than Pres. Bush who's positioned 157,000 American Troops right on Iran's doorstep?

Bob reports that the Democrat leadership he heard speak, believe that certain (Administration) policies have actually worsened Israel’s strategic and security standing, but fails to identify even one example.

Mr. Bob claims that the President did not express a sense of "urgency" in helping Israel pursue a peaceful resolution with the Palestinians. Is President Bob advocating that President Bush reach out NOW to Palestinians beyond Abu Mazen? Should we release funds to those jolly Hamasnics, you know - the ones throwing Fatah guys and gals off the rooftops?  Perhaps Mr. Bob would like Mr. Bush to invite Nasrallah to Camp David or hook-up with Ahmadinejad & Haniya for Oslo II - "The Final Peace Solution"? Jimmy Carter couldn't bring "Peace" to the Middle East.  Bubba Clinton couldn't bring "Peace" to the Middle East, only the Palestinians can bring about the conditions for peace, but first they have to purge the terrorist-gangs from their territories.  The battle for Gaza was just the beginning and was a profound defeat for the 'moderate' Palestinians.  One need only look at how the democratic government of Lebanon is dealing with Al Qaeda insurgents, who have taken up residence in their Palestinian Refugee Camps, to see the ultimate future of Hamas in Gaza and/or Hezbollah in the North.  Such decisiveness would warm the heart of Ariel Sharon and certainly should vindicate his approach to terrorists in 1980. President Bush's understands and accepts that real peace must wait until after the Palestinian Civil War runs its inevitable course to its natural conclusion.  KenBob and the democrats would endanger Israel's future by forcing premature 'negotiations' with unpacified Palestinians.

GOP cuts aid to No One

In his article, Anti-Abortion Politics, Inter-Mountain Jewish News (6/28/07) reporter, Ron Kampeas seemed to relish reporting that GOP lawmakers were not supporting, an Omnibus Foreign Operations Bill which included, money for Israel.  Kampeas implied that past Republican support for Israel was no more than a Public Relations deception, when in fact, its been the liberal Left that has repeatedly chastised Israel and encouraged Palestinian terrorist attacks.

Nowhere in his article did Kampeas disclose why Aid for Contraception in “cultures of diversity” (Asia & Africa) was jammed into this appropriation and who conspired to put this ‘Poison Pill’ in the Bill.  Imagine my surprise to learn that Democrats out-number Republicans on the House Subcommittee on State, Foreign Operations and Related Programs by 9 – 6 and include such stalwart supporters of Israel as; Jesse L. Jackson, Jr. (D –IL) and Barbara Lee (D-CA).

Putting $3.75 million (1%) of controversial Abortion-Funding in a $3.42 Billion Foreign Aid Bill was politically-motivated to put Republicans-of-Conscience in an untenable position vis a vie other funding priorities in that Bill, including money for Israel.  It’s as if these Democrats spread a little pork fat on the Shabbat meal and then berated the Rabbis for not chowing-down.

Liberals may have gained the majority in Congress over concerns about Iraq or Republicans not holding the line on spending, but no one would agree that Democrats won a mandate to impose Federally-funded Abortions into the Foreign Affairs Budget.  If these Democrats were the least bit honest they’d put Abortion funding to a vote, on its own merits, and if Ron Kampeas were being honest he’d have reported it as such. Subcommittee on State, Foreign Operations, and Related

Denver Post quits on Rockies and Iraqis

Apparently, our ‘Culture of Quitting’ has now reached into the Post’s Press Box at Coors Field: “Does anybody really believe this team's culture of losing can change until O'Dowd and Hurdle are gone?” mark kiszla | columnist (5/25/07), “Sadly, one of the most popular rationalizations at Coors Field is to blame The Denver Post for the Rockies' problems.” jim armstrong - opening shots (5/25/07).  Given the Rock’s near-record performance (7-0), which began the very day these baseball ‘Karnaks’ threw-in-the-towel, I can only hope that Armstrong & Kizla will soon be opining that, “Iraq (too) is lost”.  Coming from these ‘Fans-of-little-faith’, we should then expect that good news from Baghdad is just around the corner.   Go Rockies, keep the faith, USA, USA, USA!

Stein crossed the line

During WWII and the Korean War, ‘the Greatest Generation’ volunteers included; A-list Hollywood actors, best selling Big Band leaders, celebrity entertainers and professional sports figures.  In battle, some fought and lived, some distinguished themselves and some died.  In the interest of maintaining National moral, the Press made each and every one of them out to be heroes and our Country was proud, Americans were inspired and we gained the inevitable triumph.

By contrast, Pat Tillman’s celebrity service stands nearly alone in the annals of today’s military. And today’s ‘drive-by’ Media seems to relish, in diminishing his ultimate sacrifice, by prominently featuring his accidental ‘friendly fire’ death and our Military’s desire to keep the legend of his service positive.

The U.S. Military, trying to downplay the specific circumstances of Tillman’s death or Jessica Lynch’s rescue (hoping to keep our Nation focused on the true threat of Islamo-fascism) apparently was too tempting for Rocky Mountain News political cartoonist, Ed Stein.  His drawing (4/28/07) showing the Pentagon shooting and killing ‘the Truth’, equates those faulty Pentagon propaganda efforts with Al Queda’s stated desire to indiscriminately kill average Americans.  The biggest challenge, to defeating Al Queda, is for Americans to take seriously the continuing threat posed to us by the Islamo-fascists. For Stein to suggest that our own Military poses a comparable threat is unconscionable and clearly shows Stein’s contempt for the very soldiers who fight and die to preserve (his) freedom and his right to free speech.  Ed Stein’s cartoon is neither funny nor truthful and it is unworthy of Pat Tillman’s legacy.

Imus Inquisition Redux

In the wake of the Don Imus inquisition, Bill Menezes (director, Colorado Media Matters) is only too happy to throw some of his own partisan fuel on the fire, in his Speakout column (Rocky Mountain News - 4/13/07).  Menezes, proposes Jihad on local conservative Talk Show hosts for citing facts and statistics, which he disagrees with.  Meanwhile, over on Air America, local morning talkers, Jay Marvin & John M. get a pass from Menezes, the Media Matters guru and self-appointed arbiter of truth, justice and the American way.  Perhaps Menezes wasn’t yet awake in mid-February, when Marvin called President Bush a “criminal and retard” to which his sidekick added, “You can’t trust anything Bush says, he lies about everything”.  Again in early March, John M. said “Republicans run every agency in the Federal Government and purposefully deny poor people benefits”.   These statements go well beyond a simple disagreement over facts; these statements are derogatory, hateful and seditious.  And to make matters even worst, John M. simultaneously masquerades as a legitimate journalist, delivering his own version of the News on other Clear Channel radio stations.  It takes a strong constitution to monitor the endless hours of political-porn spewing-out from the hosts and listeners on Air America, but if what’s being broadcast over the public airwaves really mattered to Menezes, he’d first advocate using his “accountability’ bar-of-soap on the M&M Boys in Boulder.  By comparison, these guys make Imus look darn near holy!
